Protest at Endeavor's Headquarters

July 15, 2003 - Protestors gathered along the sidewalks at Endeavor's headquarters at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning at 1209 West 5th Street. Morning commuters and Endeavor employees were greeted with signs and banners protesting Endeavor's role in locating a Wal-Mart Super Center in Southwest Austin amid residential neighborhoods and over the Barton Springs Recharge Zone. Protestors were filmed and interviewed by several major news outlets as passers by honked in support of the No-Wal-Mart signs.
